From Our Farm to Your Table


At the heart of 1000 Reasons is our 32-acre farm in Echunga, where we raise premium Black Angus cattle on open pastures with care and respect. Our focus is simple - happy cattle, healthy land, honest food.


We’re committed to sustainable, low-intervention farming that works in harmony with nature. No harmful herbicides or pesticides - just rich, nutrient-dense pastures that allow our cattle to thrive naturally. The result is beautifully tender, grass-fed beef with exceptional flavour and quality you can taste.


Each animal is raised with calm handling and genuine care, ensuring both their wellbeing and the integrity of the final product. From breeding and grazing to processing and packaging, every step is guided by transparency, traceability, and respect for the land.

Nestled in the rolling Adelaide Hills on our 32-acre working farm, what started as a place for family and friends to gather has grown into a casual café, event space, and creative venue where community and connection thrive.


Our roots are grounded in a love for Australia’s outdoors, honest food, and genuine hospitality. From relaxed mornings over coffee to unforgettable weddings, birthdays, and corporate events, we’ve created a space where every occasion feels personal and inspired.


Still proudly family-run, 1000 Reasons is more than a venue — it’s a reflection of our passion for simple pleasures, meaningful moments, and the beauty of slowing down to celebrate life, together.


Farm Policies

Shipping Policy – 1000 Reasons


At 1000 Reasons, we aim to make receiving your order simple, reliable, and flexible.


You will receive a confirmation message when your order is ready.

Our butcher delivers directly to you. No third party couriers are used!!!


Local Delivery

We offer delivery to addresses within 50 km of our farm.

  1. Flat rate: $30 per delivery
  2. Deliveries occur on scheduled delivery days
  3. You will receive a delivery window in advance


Delivery Requirements

Because our products are perishable, customers must ensure:

  1. Someone is home to receive the delivery
  2. If no one is available, we cannot guarantee product quality.


Missed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is made and no safe drop option is available:

  1. The driver may return the order to the farm
  2. A redelivery fee may apply, or the order may be required to be collected
  3. Refunds are not available for missed deliveries


Food Safety

All customers agree to refrigerate or freeze their order within 20 minutes of delivery or collection to ensure safety and quality.


Cancellation Policy – 1000 Reasons


At 1000 Reasons, all orders are prepared to order, and many products are packed fresh specifically for each customer. For this reason, we have strict cancellation timeframes.


Order Cancellations

  1. Cancellations must be made within 12 hours of placing your order.
  2. After 12 hours, production and packing may have already begun, and we are unable to cancel or refund the order.


Delivery Day / Collection

Once an order has been dispatched or is ready for collection:

  1. No cancellations or refunds can be offered.
  2. If you are unable to receive your delivery, it is your responsibility to arrange an alternative person or location to accept the order.


Deferring an Order

If you need to change your delivery date:

  1. You may request a delivery deferral, provided your order has not yet been packed.
  2. Deferrals are subject to availability and must be requested as early as possible.


Special Orders & Bulk Orders

Bulk beef packs, whole or half animal orders, and custom preparations:

  1. Cannot be cancelled once processing has begun.
  2. Deposits (if applicable) are non-refundable.


By placing an order with 1000 Reasons, you acknowledge and accept our Cancellation Policy.

Refund Policy – 1000 Reasons


At 1000 Reasons, all of our products are perishable food items. For this reason, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or returns once an order has been collected or delivered.


However, we stand by the quality and integrity of everything we produce. If you believe there is an issue with your order that relates to:

  1. Product quality,
  2. Incorrect items received, or
  3. Damage caused during delivery,

please contact us within 12 hours of receiving your order with clear photos and a description of the issue.


We will review each case individually and, where appropriate, may offer a replacement or credit at our discretion.


Refunds are not provided for:

  1. Change of mind
  2. Customer storage issues
  3. Failure to collect/receive the delivery
  4. Preference or taste
  5. Delays caused by courier services or factors outside our control
