At Abelsway Farm we grow our chicks out from 1 day old in brooder boxes where they are kept warm and dry until they are feathered and ready to be transferred into the paddock. Here they spend the rest of their lives safe from predators in pasture pens that are continually moved to fresh ground. The birds have the freedom to choose to bask in the sun, rest in the shade, scratch around, dust bathe, eat grass and bugs and whatever other tasty morsels they find.
The meat produced in a pasture raised bird is juicy, tender and
delicious.
When purchasing an Abelsway chicken you have the peace of mind knowing that our birds are processed by hand, making it quick, efficient and clean. Because of this it means that there are no chemicals required during processing, only iced water, so you know the final product is fresh and clean with no nasties.
We have been growing pasture raised birds for nearly 6 years. 2 years in Western Australia and 4 years and counting in South Australia.With a history in grain production and other animal husbandry, we are continually adapting our systems and looking at ways to grow and improve all areas of our farming practices.

Once ordered, we can not accept cancellations more than 24 hours after placing your order.
However, orders can be deferred to an alternative delivery date.
In the event that an item is not available to be delivered with your order we will refund you the amount of that item.
