Our Cattle

We run approximately 100 head of cows, mostly Angus breed. Our cattle are in one herd, which mimics their natural behaviour. They are given access to fresh pasture daily, moving them in a rotational method around the farm. All of our cattle are born and bred on the farm, and live their whole lives on grass, from start to finish. We do not use vaccinations, Bovaer, mRNA technologies, or artificial growth inputs, focusing instead on natural animal health, low-stress handling, and regenerative farming practices.

Products

Grown right here at Levenvale Farm, Bello Beef is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, organic beef. We make unique and delicious sausages, burgers, bone broths & cured meats without preservatives, fillers, nitrates or dyes. We also have a large range of steak cuts and slow roast options. Bello Beef tastes better, is better for your health & better for our planet.

Our Farm and its history

Levenvale Farm has been part of Bellingen’s landscape for over 130 years, originally one of the valley’s first dairy farms. In 2019, Sam and Georgina Baker, and their young family, took over, transforming it into a regenerative, certified organic farm.

Today, Levenvale produces Bello Beef, raised on chemical-free, grass-fed pastures with a focus on soil health and animal welfare. Through land-sharing partnerships, the farm also offers pastured chickens and seasonal vegetables, all available at the farm shop.

Levenvale is more than a farm — it’s a place to connect with food and community. Visitors are welcome for farm stays, workshops, events, and farm-to-table experiences, seeing regenerative practices in action while enjoying fresh, local produce.

Our Meat

Bello Beef tastes the way beef is meant to taste. Our Black Angus cattle are born, raised, and finished on grass, grazing on diverse pastures at a natural pace. This careful, rotational grazing not only keeps the cows healthy but also develops rich, flavorful meat with a natural depth that comes straight from the pasture.

We don’t use antibiotics, hormones, or chemical treatments, which means the taste is clean, pure, and full of character. Every cut reflects the care we put into raising our cattle the way nature intended. Producing high-quality, grass-fed beef is not just our work—it’s our passion. We take pride in sharing the results with our local community, connecting people to food that is raised with care, respect, and integrity.
